Ramsgate Day 2025
Pick up a programme at The Granville Theatre, Elephant in the Room (Queen St), Seabird (Addington St) or the Visitor Centre on Harbour Parade.
It's a day all about exploring, trying new things, remembering Ramsgate's past, finding places you've not been to before and supporting the young makers and developers who are taking part in the Teenage Market - 30 young people ages 8-24 running stalls throughout the town centre.
Shops are giving special offers, there's a BBQ outside Slice, roasted sausages at Taylor Meats, cakes galore, a Dog Lovers Fiesta in Charlotte Court and giant games for all ages in Albert Court. Meet up with Ramsgate FC, view their trophy, try out bowls, petanque, Laughter Yoga, Nordic Walking and (for dogs!) Pawlates.....well, it's got to be fun!
The Mayor of Ramsgate and MP Polly Billington will launch the event at midday. You'll be entertained by young performers, the Ravensgate Singers, ukele band Gaddzukes and a massive singalong with Neon Rush from 4pm. There's even social singing with Ed Greenhalgh at 3pm, where you can make as much noise as you want in a big fun singalong. Many will enjoy hearing Ralph Hoult's talks in Slice and watching the Peter & Keith films of Ramsgate's past just opposite and Silvers.
