Primarily this voluntary group formed in an attempt to reverse the fortunes of the long neglected Winterstoke Gardens, Sun Shelter and Chine, as with many garden & park areas within Ramsgate local groups are taking control of maintenance and planning the long term future of these open spaces.

All of the funds we raise from generous passers by and our local authority Ramsgate Town Council are spent on maintaining the gardens and our mobile shed (our van) which has been neccessary because we have no storage space at the gardens.

As a purely voluntary group the tasks we carry out are varied and not limited to just gardening:
Maintaining & planting the communal gardens | Litter picking | Weeding & Edging pathways |  Collecting disgarded plastic | Working with local schools and collages | Administration | Blogging

As a volunteer group we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters, passers by, Ramsgate Town Council, County Councillors and our local Ward Councillors to fund our activities.
We are not funded by the local authority all our expendature is covered by fund raising, donations and funding applications.
If you would like to help Winterstoke Gardens & East Cliff Projects financially please consider a donation no matter how much you can spare every penny counts...
